How to apply.
If you are interested in applying to ANA, please send us your CV and a 10x8 photograph, together with a covering letter explaining why you want to join ANA and telling us a bit about yourself. Please also let us know of any shows you are in and feel free to send us your show reel.
Include a stamped addressed envelope if you wish us to return your photo and/or DVD to you.
The application process will take a few weeks. We will assess whether there is space for you on our books and your potential as an agent.
All being well, you will be invited to a first interview at our office. This is an informal chat with one or two members where we will explain how ANA operates, the responsibilities involved and talk to you about your career aspirations.
If we’re (you and us!) are still interested you will be invited to a second interview. This will involve a more in depth discussion and in particular we will consider whether you have the requisite skills to become an agent.
If successful, you’ll be invited to probationary membership of ANA. During your six months probation you will be brought fully up to speed in the workings of the office and learn what it takes to be an effective agent.
All the while, your colleagues, many with several years of experience in the industry, will offer advice and support and ensure that you are happy with the direction of your career.
