LilyAnn arrived from Canada in 1984 to train at Drama Studio London, certain she’d only stay five years. When Equity wouldn’t have her, she sensibly paid the bills with a 9‑to‑5 and a Postgrad in Arts Management, keeping her creative edge through workshops with Bryony Lavery, Jack Bradley, Tony Craze, and Mark Ravenhill.

Post‑pandemic, she cashed in her pension and jumped back into acting. A British Army commercial finally earned her Equity, and ANA signed her after seeing her at Southwark Playhouse and The Old Red Lion.

She’s also a massage therapist, voice coach, makeup artist, and hobbyist milliner. Her accents range from North American to RP, Irish to Eastern European—always hoping not to drift into Dick Van Dyke territory. She rides Western better than English, reads music, and sings mezzo/alto (strictly not solo).
