Peter Barnes brings a lifetime of craft to the stage and screen. Raised in Canada and back in the UK by 1967, he launched straight into professional acting before training at RADA in 1972. His career spans theatre, television, five feature films, commercials and corporate work, with standout moments including the original London production of Brian Friel’s Translations and the award‑winning Canadian play The Drawer Boy.

Beyond acting, he’s driven by art, music, natural history, gardening and archaeology — no surprise from someone who once planned to become a zoologist specialising in herpetology. He is also an Honorary Life Member of Equity, a testament to his long-standing contribution to the industry.
